THE AWARDS CEREMONY

The 2007 Greek Investor Relations Awards for 2007 were announced and presented at a special ceremony which took place at the new facilities of the Athens Exchange on Thursday February 21, 2008. More than 180 corporate executives, representatives of various market related organizations and participants in the Greek and international capital markets attended the event.

Capital Link organized the event with the support of key Greek market participants such as the Athens Exchange, the Association of Greek Institutional Investors and the Union of Listed Companies and international participants such as FTSE - the independent company and world-leader in the creation and management of numerous indices of vital importance to the international investment world, including among others a series of indices on the Greek stock market.

The objective of the Awards, a concept introduced by Capital Link since 2003, is to identify and publicly acknowledge those companies and individuals who adopt and follow high standards in the fields of Corporate Governance, Financial Disclosure and Investor Relations. Also, to raise the profile and significance of the function of Investor Relations among listed companies and contribute to the further development of this function in Greece.
